Sometime in March this year, Lauren Schwartzber over at New York Magazine's The Cut unleashed a pretty delightful timeline of the rise of "Millennial Pink" - a blushy, faded hue that's easier on the eyes than your all-time favourite Stabilo highlighter pink. It's managed, somehow, to soak into every crevice of the market in the past five years, and it's definitely staying around for a bit this time too.

Even couture master, Giambattista Valli knew the power of pink, and threw in a good handful of gowns in shades of blush for his Fall 2017 Couture Collection.

Whether you like to call it Scandi Pink, Baby Blush, Rose Quartz or whatever else, as far as trends go, this one's pretty stubborn. Perhaps when Shakespeare wrote his piece for Romeo & Juliet, 'a rose by any other name would smell as sweet', he was on to something.

And whether you're trimming that workspace, or giving your kitchenware a breath of new life, we'd highly suggest you splash this colour across your living space.
